I haven’t written in a few days, and to be honest, after only getting, at most, three hours of sleep, I’m not really feeling the whole writing thing right now either. I want to curl up back in bed, and sleep, and have someone cook eggs and bacon for me, with coffee. Which I totally didn’t get to have breakfast or my coffee this morning. I hit snooze until I had to get out of bed or be late.
That’s how tired I am right now. Even the thought of enjoying my coffee alone I a quiet apartment wasn’t enough to motivate me out of bed.
I know if I don’t write an entry now that habit is going to start slipping away from me again. I don’t have an excuse for not writing. I haven’t been depressed, as far as I know, and though I have been busy, I’m sure I could have eeked out a few minutes away from Facefail to make a post about how my day was going.
The past days have been good. I can’t recall anything that stuck out as negative.
Saturday I didn’t do a whole lot. Literally. I should have worked on my homework; I should have done my chores. Instead I watched about 3 hours worth of Illustrator tutorials, cross-stitched, and listened to the fourth book in the Percy Jackson series.
I had lunch with Ari. We’re going to go out Thursday evening, which I’m sort of regretting right now. At the time I was feeling extroverted and in need of interaction. Now I want to curl up and go back to being a hermit.
Sunday I worked on my project literally all day. And even though I gave it my all, I wasn’t able to finish the project. I learned a lot from it, and I got to experiment with a bunch of things, but the final image wasn’t where I wanted it to be. So that was a bit disappointing.
Yesterday I got caught up on most of the chores I didn’t do over the weekend. I have two more things I need to cook, but aside from that all of my meals are done for the week.
I finally vacuumed out my car, which needed it since I have been running on Cady Way trail. Bits of rock, twigs, and leaves were starting to make their home on the floorboard.
I found a new park where I can park my car and go running, so I might give that a go on Wednesday.
I’ve been doing more yoga. My legs have started hurting again from the tightness. I’ve been doing so well with my running. I don’t want to give that up, so I need to take the steps to care for my body.
I haven’t been drinking as much water, and I missed taking my vitamin Saturday and Sunday. And if I’m honest, I didn’t take it until Monday evening once I got home.
And again, I don’t know why I am letting things slip by. I almost didn’t eat anything over the weekend because the thought of cooking took so much energy, let along actually following through with the action. I ended up ordering a pizza Saturday night that got me through most of Sunday.
With how productive I was on the life side of things yesterday morning, I was completely spent by the time I had to actually go in for work.
I completed the one assignment for my GR1 class this week, so all I have to do is the final assignment. I need to make a travel poster. I think I’m going to make one for Russia.
I have continued poking around at the blog thing. It’s funny what you can find mental capacity for. I’ve started following a few blogs. One of them is another INFJ. I really like her posts because I can relate to all of them.
I sort of feel like that sums up my past days.
Maybe I need to go back and read my posts to get myself out of whatever funk I’m in. Or maybe it really is just a need for sleep right now. I suppose I will find out once I get home and crash.
The trick will be surviving these next six hours until I can go do that. I’m thinking it’s going to take more than one cup of coffee to get me through this.
