Yesterday was a busy, but looong day. I was pretty hardcore tired by the end of it.

I ended up going running at the gym before work. That was after trying to nap for a bit. I pretty much just ended up laying in bed for few hours, but being still was still nice. Maybe that’s the introvert in me needing stillness and silence. Eitehr way it was pretty nice.

After that I got up and finished cleaning the kitchen since I made a mess while cooking. The chili came out pretty good. I tried some of the garlic chicken for ‘quality assurance’ and that was fantastic, too. I have leftover mashed potatoes, so those are a side for the chicken. I need to cook the broccoli side tonight to finish off those meals, but over all I’m really happy with everything I got done food wise.

I did a light run at the gym. I remember when a run like that would have been super hard and intense. Now it feels like a really good warm up. I can feel how much stronger my legs are, and how I’m able to do more, push harder. It’s a good feeling.

After the gym I went into work. I replied to emails, and created Google Doc templates for my comment files that I use when I grade. I know it is silly that I haven’t made those yet in all of the time that I have been grading, but I have them now, so we’ll see how much faster I am, now that I don’t have recreated those files every time.

I started listening to my chapters for this week in my Art History book. Surprising a lot of it is about architecture. There are a few chapters this week that are optional, but of course I’m going to read them. So I have to get from chapter 10 to chapter 17. x.x

I’m on 12 right now.

I stitched a bit while I was listening to the chapters. There is one guy in the last lab who is getting pretty hand-holdy. I’m pretty sure he has picked up on the fact that I do not approve of the type of questions he is asking me. “So this is the next step?” “So all I do is this?” “Am I clicking the right thing?” “So what is the naming convention for this type of object?”

He ahs no notes from lecture, and very obviously isn’t watching the podcasts, because if he was he would know the answers, which is why it is frustrating. I’m trying to do my homework, no rig your project for you. I know how to do this and could do it in about 2 hours. If you’re not sure of how to do something, save your file and try it out. Once you have something let me look it over and I’ll let you know if anything is incorrect. That’s what I’m there for, to guide, not to do. Frustration.

Other than that lab was nice. Emily wasn’t there, which has me a little worried. One of her classmates said she might have withdrawan for the month. I really hope this are alright on her end.

I stitched a bit more when I came home, but not for all that long.

I was supposed to hang out with Sammi today, but Clavan needs the grades done before Wednesday, so I’m having to do my admin hours today, which means hangout time is pushed back until Wednesday morning, which may work better anyway. I have SAL lab at 1pm which is right in the middle of my day, and I need to get laundry done so I have clean stuff to wear, and sans cat fur sheets. Since I washed Scarlet there is fur –everywhere-. Like seriously, my dark blue sheets are white. It’s pretty sick.

Anyway, so as far as today goes, it’s only 10ish, which is nice. Still time to get stuff done before work.

I need to do laundry like I said, so I’m most likely going to do all of my video training while that is happening. Small easy assignments. By then it will most likely be close to work, if not I can always get my workout in.

After the lab I will workout, if I haven’t done that already, then come home to finish off the cooking I need to do along with the grading.

I made the krienik list for John and sent him my address, so hopefully I can get those soon. That would be so awesome. Especially since the Dragon of Earth is requiring a krienik thread that I don’t have. Of course he would. Sigh. And it’s a main color… double sigh.

Anyway, past the grading cooking stuff I’m going to do more reading / listening and stitching I suppose. I thought about starting another, super small one just to finish something, but I don’t think I will. I need to finish the other three that I started since I have their missing thread now. That will give me more to show for my efforts through September.

I talked to Jarrett a bit yesterday. He got paid and said he has my money for me. We are going to try to meet up today so I am expecting a message from him later in the evening.

I got a reply from John thanking me for my contact information and for all of the additional resources I attached in my email to him. Go go networking.

So that’s about it. Nice, relaxing, fairly stress free. I gots stuff to do though, so off I go.
