“If you could choose to be a master (or mistress) of any skill in the world, which skill would you pick?“

Communication.

I would like to be able to never have misunderstandings or language / cultural barriers.

I would like to know exactly what a person means, and to be able to convey my thoughts and feelings in such a way that they were always understood by my audience.

So much of the hurt I have experienced has come from words rather than actions.

While actions in many ways are more important than any language can ever hope to be, I feel that it is infinitely easier to ‘do’ the right thing, rather than ‘say’ the right thing.

So, if I could have any skill, any super power, it would be to be the best, most effective communicator so I could connect harmoniously with every person I interact with.
